I really like Xsitepro 2 - I know there are a few bad reviews out there because many users of xsitepro 1 expected version 2 to be amazing since it took so long to come out.
The wait wasn’t crazy - and it meant that version 2 of xsitepro had almost no bugs by the time it landed in our laps.
I didn’t expect the features to be amazing - xsitepro after all isn’t dreamweaver, or a blog, or anything other than what it is.
The latest version works great with the Black Hat Xsitepro techniques we talk about here: Black Hat Xsitepro, and there are a ton of little things you can do to make your sites even better. Siloing, rss feeds, and other things that can be done with a little programming yourself are built in. Along with xsitepro’s usual ‘newbie seo’ guides built right in.
If you can manage to fill in the forms as you create your pages - you end up with a proper site, sitemap, seo structure, and readablity by the search engines. After looking at hundreds of newbie webmaster sites I would have to say that this is a great great thing to help guide you.
